Chilli Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped into 4 cubes
- 250g of chicken (boneless or on the bone)
- 6 split green chillies
- 1 tbsp garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp juliennes of ginger
- 3-4 tbsp of vegetable oil
- Salt according to taste
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp of brown chinese chilli sauce
- Garnish with red and green chillies
Method
- Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is well heated, add 1 tbsp of ginger and garlic, 31/2 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tbsp of green chilli sauce, 1 tbsp of brown Chinese chilli sauce.
- Swirl the ginger and garlic in the sauces.
- Add 7-8 deseeded split green chillies and one onion chopped into four cubes. Stir well together.
- Add the chicken, 1 tsp of salt, a bit of black pepper, 1/2 tbsp soya sauce.
- Keep stirring for the heat to get into the chicken.
- Add some capsicum, green chillies and some lighter green chillies on top. Toss them together
- Ready to serve
