Mulled Apple Cider

Servings :Serves 4.

Ingredients :

4 unpeeled apples, sliced
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 stick cinnamon (dalchini)

For the garnish
1 apple, cubed
apple skins swirls

Method :

Mix the apple, sugar and spices and add 4 teacups of water. Cover and cook on a medium flame till the apples are soft, stirring occasionally. Add the lemon juice, cover and leave for a few hours. Strain the cider. Serve chillied or warm garnished with apples cubes and swirl.
