Ingredients :
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 tsp urad dal (split black lentils)
1 tsp chana dal (split bengal gram)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp chopped green chillies
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
5 curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 chopped onions
1 chopped tomato
salt to taste
2 cups leftover crumbled dhokla
For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp grated coconut
Method :
Heat the oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds.When the seeds crackle, add the urad dal and chana dal, fry until they turns to golden brown colour.Add the cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chillies and curry leaves and fry for a minute on a medium flame.Add the onions and fry until they become slightly golden brown in colour.Add the tomatoes and salt and cook till they are partly mashed.Add the crumbled dhokla mix well, cover and cook for 1 minute.Serve hot and garnished with coriander and coconut.
