- Sago (sabudana),soaked 1 cup
- Potatoes 2 medium
- Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Crushed roasted peanuts 1/4 cup
- Bhajnee flour 1/2 cup
- Fresh coriander leaves,chopped 2 tablespoons
- Green chillies 2
- Ghee for cooking
- Green chutney 1/2 cup
- Yogurt 1/4 cup
- Grate potatoes thickly and place in a bowl.
- Add sabudana, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, salt, peanuts and bhajanee flour.
- Finely chop coriander leaves and green chillies and add. Mix and knead into a dough.
- Dampen your palms, take small portions of dough and shape into balls.
- Place a ring mould on a non-stick tawa, put the dough in it and spread into a small thalipeeth.
- Similarly make some more thalipeeths.
- Heat the tawa, make small holes in the centre of each thalipeeth and drizzle ghee into it.
- Cover and cook till the underside is golden.
- Flip over and cook till both sides are evenly golden.
- Mix green chutney with yogurt in a bowl.
- Serve hot thalipeeths hot with this chutney.
