Mini Sabudana Thalipeeth

Ingredients
  • Sago (sabudana),soaked 1 cup
  • Potatoes 2 medium
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed roasted peanuts 1/4 cup
  • Bhajnee flour 1/2 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves,chopped 2 tablespoons
  • Green chillies 2
  • Ghee for cooking
  • Green chutney 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1/4 cup
Method
  1. Grate potatoes thickly and place in a bowl. 
  2. Add sabudana, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, salt, peanuts and bhajanee flour. 
  3. Finely chop coriander leaves and green chillies and add. Mix and knead into a dough. 
  4. Dampen your palms, take small portions of dough and shape into balls. 
  5. Place a ring mould on a non-stick tawa, put the dough in it and spread into a small thalipeeth. 
  6. Similarly make some more thalipeeths. 
  7. Heat the tawa, make small holes in the centre of each thalipeeth and drizzle ghee into it. 
  8. Cover and cook till the underside is golden. 
  9. Flip over and cook till both sides are evenly golden. 
  10. Mix green chutney with yogurt in a bowl. 
  11. Serve hot thalipeeths hot with this chutney.
