Kala Khatta Jaljeera

Ingredients
  • kala khatta syrup 6 tablespoons
  • Jaljeera powder 3 1/2 teaspoons
  • Black salt (kala namak) to taste
  • Lemon 1/2
  • Ice cubes as required
  • Fresh mint leaves a few
  • Drinking soda 2 bottles
Method
  1. Pour kala khatta syrup into a cocktail shaker. 
  2. Add jaljeera powder, black salt, juice of ½ lemon, 2 tbsps water, 2-3 ice cubes and put the lid on the shaker and shake well. 
  3. Add lots of ice cubes.
  4. Put a few fresh mint leaves in each serving glass. 
  5. Put the ice cubes from the shaker equally into each glass. 
  6. Pour kala khatta mixture equally into each glass. 
  7. Top it up with drinking soda. 
  8. Serve immediately.
