- Pumpkin,grated 2 cups
- Ghee 1 1/2 tablespoons
- Jaggery (gur),grated 1 cup
- Rice flour 6 cups
- Oil to deep fry
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add pumpkin and sauté on a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer into a bowl, add jaggery and mix well. Add rice flour and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Make small balls of this mixture and place on one half of a plastic sheet.
- Cover it with the other half and press with hand and shape it like a gharge.
- Deep fry the gharges in hot oil till golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
