Makes 4 to 5 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked broken wheat (dalia)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chopped basil
- 1/4 cup chopped waterchestnuts
- 1/4 cup boiled kala chana (brown chick peas)
- 1/4 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Serve fresh at room temperature or refrigerate it and serve chilled.
