- Dates,pitted 1
- Figs,dried 1/2 Cup
- Almonds,chopped 1/3 cup
- Melon seeds (magaz) 1/3 cup
- Flax seeds 1/3 cup
- Poppy seeds (khuskhus/posto) 2 tablespoons
- Coconut,dessicated 1/2 Cup
- Dry roast almonds, melon seeds and flax seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Grind dates, figs and dry roasted ingredients into a smooth mixture in a food processor. Transfer into a bowl.
- Dry roast poppy seeds and desiccated coconut in a non-stick pan till fragrant. Remove from heat and spread on a plate.
- Dampen your hands with a little water/oil. Divide the ground mixture into equal portions shaped into medium sized laddoos. Coat them in the poppy seeds-coconut mixture. Dust off the excess mixture.
- Serve immediately.
