Bhopla Gharge

Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients
  • Pumpkin,grated 2 cups
  • Ghee 1 1/2 tablespoons
  • Jaggery (gur),grated 1 cup
  • Rice flour 6 cups
  • Oil to deep fry
Method
  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add pumpkin and sauté on a high heat for 2-3 minutes. 
  2. Transfer into a bowl, add jaggery and mix well. Add rice flour and mix well.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Make small balls of this mixture and place on one half of a plastic sheet. 
  4. Cover it with the other half and press with hand and shape it like a gharge. 
  5. Deep fry the gharges in hot oil till golden brown. 
  6. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
