Power Pack Frutti Tutti Rice

Servings :Makes 4 serving

Ingredients :

1 cup soaked and cooked rice (chawal)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp peanuts
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
2-3 dry red chillies (pandi)
1 cup boiled mixed sprouts
1-2 bayleaf (tejpatta)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
10 curry leaves (kadi patta)
1/4 cup finely chopped pineapple
1/4 cup pomegranate (anar)
1/4 cup finely chopped apples
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup finely chopped coconut
1/2 tbsp garam masala
salt to taste

Method :

Heat oil in a broad non- stick pan, add the cumin seeds.When the seeds crackle add asafoetida, peanuts, bay leaves, chillies and sprouts, mix well.Add salt, garam masala, sugar and lemon juice, mix well. Add the rice and mix again.Now add the apples, pineapple, pomegranate, coconut, coriander and curry leaves, stir to mix.

Serve hot.
