Ingredients :
1/4 kg beaten rice (poha)
2 potatoes
1 tomato
3 onions
5 green chillies
1 cup coriander (dhania)
1 cup grated coconut
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 spring of curry leaves (kadi patta)
salt & sugar to taste
Method :
Wash poha. Strain in a colanderAdd half of the coconut, coriander,turmeric, sugar & salt to itKeep aside for 1/2 an hour.Heat oil.Add mustard seeds cumin seeds, curry patta & green chillies & turmeric pd.Add onion and fry well.Add tomatoes & fry againAdd the potatoes and cook for a while.Add the poha. Mix well.Garnish with the remaining coconut & coriander.Serve hot, after sprinkling sev.
