Paneer Tikka Roll

Servings :Makes 4 rolls

Ingredients :

To Be Mixed Into A Marinade
1/2 cup thick curds (dahi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
2 tsp besan (bengal gram flour)
3/4 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste

For The Paneer Tikka Filling
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
1/2 cup onion cubes
1/2 cup capsicum cubes
1 tbsp oil for greasing and cooking

Other Ingredients For Paneer Tikka Roll
1/2 cup onion rings
chaat masala to taste
4 rotis

Method :

For the paneer tikka

Combine the paneer cubes, onion cubes, capsicum cubes and the marinade in a bowl and toss gently. Keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes.Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), grease it with oil and cook the marinated paneer-capsicum on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep aside.

How to proceed to make paneer tikka roll

Combine the onions rings with chaat masala in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.Place a roti on a clean dry surface and put 1/4th portion of the marinated paneer on each roti. Arrange ¼ cup of onion slices over it and roll it up tightly.Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more paneer tikka rolls.
