Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp oil for greasing
- 3/4 cup idli batter , readily available in the market
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- 1 tbsp curds (dahi)
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 tsp fruit salt
- Grease a 175 mm. (7”) dish with oil and keep aside.
- Combine the idli batter, coriander, curds and salt in a bowl, mix gently and keep aside.
- Put the oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and microwave on high for 1 minute. Keep aside.
- Add the fruit salt to the prepared batter and mix gently.
- Pour the tempering on top and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Cut into equal-sized pieces and serve immediately.
