Calcium Rich Carrot Spinach and Tomato Juice

Ingredients :

Hopper Method
2 cups carrot cubes (unpeeled)
1 1/2 cups roughly chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup tomato cubes
crushed ice for serving

Juicer Method
1 1/4 cups carrot cubes (unpeeled)
1 1/2 cups roughly chopped spinach (palak)
1/4 cup tomato cubes
crushed ice for serving

Method :

Hopper method

Add the carrot cubes, spinach and tomato cubes a few at a time in the hopper.Add some crushed ice in 2 individual glasses and pour equal quantities of the juice over it.Serve immediately.

Juicer method

Combine the carrot cubes, spinach and tomato cubes along with 1 cup of water and blend in a juicer till smooth.Strain the juice using a strainer.Add some crushed ice in 2 individual glasses and pour equal quantities of the juice over it.Serve immediately.

Handy tip:

This recipe makes use of unpeeled fruits and vegetables, hence take care to clean and wash them well before chopping, to get rid of dirt, germs and chemical residues.
