Ingredients :
1/2 cup ragi (nachni / red millet) flour
2 tbsp whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
2 tbsp grated carrot
1/4 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera)
4 curry leaves (kadi patta) , roughly chopped
salt to taste
oil for cooking
Method :
Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water.Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll a portion into 125 mm. (5”) diameter round between 2 sheets of plastic.Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the roti on it, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.Repeat with the remaining dough to make 5 more rotis.Serve immediately.
