Masala Green Pea Puri

Ingredients :

1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup crushed green peas
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1/4 tsp turmeric (haldi) powder
3/4 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
oil for deep frying

Method :

Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a semi-soft dough using enough water.
Divide the dough into 20 equal portions.
Roll out a portion of the dough into a 75 mm. (3\") diameter circle without using any flour for rolling, on a greased rolling board and pin.
Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry a few puris at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
Serve immediately.
