- 1/2 cup brown vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 450 gms cabbage , cut into thin strips
- 3 onions , sliced
- 100 gms bean sprouts
- 10 french beans , cut into thin strips
- 2 carrot , cut into thin strips
- 3/4 cup boiled noodles
- 1 1/2 cups fried noodles
- 4 tsp oil
- 1 tsp chilli sauce
- salt to taste
For the sauce
- Place all the ingredients of the sauce in a vessel, mix well and put to boil. Go on cooking and stirring until the sauce is thick.
- Keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a vessel and add the vegetables. Cook on a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the prepared sauce, boiled noodles, chilli sauce and salt and cook for a few minutes.
- Add half of the fried noodles and mix well.
- Serve hot, topped with the rest of the fried noodles.
