Ingredients :
150 gms beaten rice (poha)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
2 tsp desi ghee
10 to 12 curry leaves (kadi patta)
4 to 5 green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tbsp raisins (kismis)
12 cashewnuts (kaju)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp milk
2 tsp sugar (optional)
navratan mix (or any bhujia of your choice)
Method :
Clean poha, put in a strainer and pass through a running water. In a non stick pan, heat ghee, add rai- as it crackle add cashews, chillies and fry for while.Add raisins, turmeric powder, curryleaves and washed poha & salt mix well.If poha seems to dry sprinkle milk over it. Remove it one a serving dish, garnish it with lemon juice, sugar and navratan mix.
