Horlicks Oats and Vegetable Pancakes

Ingredients :

To Be Mixed Into A Batter
1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/4 cup jowar (white millet) flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup grated cabbage
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
3/4 cup water

Other Ingredients
oil for greasing and cooking

For Serving
green chutney

Method :

Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it lightly using a little oil.Pour a ladleful of the batter on the tava (griddle) and spread in a circular motion to make a 125 mm. (5”) diameter round pancake.Cook on a medium flame using oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.Repeat steps 1 to 3 to make 8 more pancakes.Serve immediately with green chutney.
