Ingredients
1 cup moong dal , soaked overnight
1 medium onion , chopped
1 potato , chopped
1 1/2 tsp
1 potato ( cut small in size)
1 1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds , crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
oil for deep frying
Method
Wash and remove skin of moong dal and blend in a mixer till smooth.Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.Heat the oil in a kadhai, drop spoons of batter in oil and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp.Serve hot.
