2 cups chopped spinach (palak)
1 cup grape halves
1/2 cup paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
a few curry leaves (kadi patta)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf) powder
2 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp sugar
Method
Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves and saute for 20 seconds.Add the moong dal, water, salt and cook until water evaporates and is single grain separate yet soft.Add all other ingredients and saute for a minute.Serve fresh"}]
