Fried Fish
Ingredients
- 1 full fish (preferably pomfret)
- Salt and pepper as per taste
For Stuffing
- 1 small cube grated cheese
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1-2 tbspn finely chopped coriander
- 1 tbspn oil
- Salt and pepper
- Finely chopped spring onions for garnishing
Method
- Clean the fish and make a horizontal slit in the middle of the belly. Make light vertical slits on its skin as well.
- Marinate the fish in salt and pepper for 1 ½ hour.
- Meanwhile grate the cheese and mix it along with chopped green chillies, coriander, salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Stuff this mixture into the slits made in the fish.
- In a non-stick pan add oil . Now put the fish in the pan.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on medium flame.
- After one side is done, turn the fish and cook the other side in the same way.
- After the fish is well cooked from both sides, garnish with finely chopped spring onions and serve.
