Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 6 to 8 cloves garlic, peeled & thinly sliced
- 2 dried red chillies
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 potatoes, diced with peel
- Salt to taste
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Sprig of cilantro
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add garlic, red chillies and sesame seeds and sauté till garlic turns dark brown and is slightly burnt.
- Toss in potatoes with salt and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook till potatoes are soft and cooked through.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with bread.
