- 1 cup cow or goat milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root
- 3-4 cardamom seeds
- ½ to 2 teaspoon ghee
- Put milk, water, ginger and cardamom into a small saucepan.
- Heat over medium-high heat until boiling.
- Reduce heat immediately to low and simmer for five minutes.
- Pour into individual cups and stir in ghee.
