Quick Rice Kheer

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Makes 1 cup
Ingredients
  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup cooked rice (chawal) , mashed
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
  • 2 pinches nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
For The Garnish
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
For Serving
  • puris
Method
  1. Heat the milk in a broad non-stick pan, add the rice, mix well with help of a whisk.
  2. Add the condensed milk and cardamom powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the nutmeg powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Garnish with nutmeg powder and cardamom powder and serve warm with puris.
