Garlic and Tendli Pickle

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 3 mins
Makes 1 cup
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 1/2 cup tendli rings
  • 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  • a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • 2 tsp oil
To Be Mixed Into A Masala
  • 2 tsp split mustard seeds (rai na kuria)
  • 2 tsp split fenugreek seeds (methi na kuria)
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • salt
Method
  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the asafoetida, green chillies, garlic, and tendli and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add the prepared masala and mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minutes.
  3. Keep aside to marinate for atleast 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Store in an air-tight container for 7 days in a refrigerator.
