Fada Nu Salad

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Makes 4 to 5 servings
Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked broken wheat (dalia)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped waterchestnuts
  • 1/4 cup boiled kala chana (brown chick peas)
  • 1/4 cup chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
For The Garnish
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Serve fresh at room temperature or refrigerate it and serve chilled.
