Chicken Do Pyaaza

Ingredients:
  • ½ kg chicken
  • 3 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ dhana jeera powder
  • ¾ tspn red chilli powder
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tspn chole masala (everest)
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  1. Put oil in a saucepan and sauté two finely chopped onions. When they turn transparent add garam masala, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder, tomatoes and sauté till oil separates.
  2. Wash the chicken and cut into medium sized pieces. Add them into the masal mixture and cook.
  3. Add a little water if needed.
  4. When the gravy thickens, in another pan put some oil and sauté one onion. Add in one green chilli, dhana jeera powder, ½ tspn red chilli powder and one tomato and saute.
  5. Add chole masala (Everest) powder.
  6. Finally add the chicken with the gravy and cook for some time. Garnish with finely chopped coriander.
